Dear MY Bharat Youth,

IISC Bangalore has posted an experiential learning program for Engineer Tribal Students backed by Ministry of Tribal Affairs (MoTA) on MY Bharat.

The NST ELP offers Completely Free World-Class, Cutting-Edge Exposure and Training, including Semi-Conductor Fabrication, to students from Scheduled Tribes (ST) with 5 Credits from National Skill Qualification Framework by Electronics Skill Sector Council by IISc Bangalore (CeNSE).

It includes a 10 days training at IISC Bengaluru Campus with Full Travel Reimbursement, and Free Stay and Food by IISC offering Practical, hands-on exposure to be provided in IISc labs on Characterization, Fabrication, Packaging, Cleanroom etc.

Eligibility Criteria: (Pursuing & Completed Students and Faculty Members)

  • B.Tech and Bachelor of Engineering (Any Stream): 4th Year onwards and Degree holders.
  • M.Tech and M.Sc (Any Stream): 1st Year Onwards and Degree holders.
  • PhD (Technical and Science related streams): Current scholars and PhD holder.
  • No Age Limit

Registration: 5th Sep 2025 to 30th Oct 2025

Phase 1: Online Tutorial | 40 hours | 1st Nov 2025 to 5th Dec 2025

Phase 2: Foundational Program - 10th to 20th Dec 2025

Advanced Program - 15 Jan 2026 to 30 Apr 2026

  • 7 batches comprising of 30 students each (7 X 30 = 210) will visit & get hands-on Learning and Exposure of 10 days at IISC, Bengaluru Campus, at an interval of 15 days.
  • 100% Travel Reimbursement by IISC, Bengaluru. (Economy Air Tickets for Students from Jammu, Kashmir, Ladakh and North-East Students). Accommodation and Food will be provided by IISc, Bengaluru near IISc Campus.

Post-course benefits: Internship, Networking opportunities, Career guidance and Counselling
