Chandigarh. Haute Monde Mrs. India Worldwide 2023 Finalist Narinderjit Kaur Brar partnered with the UNO to distribute sanitary napkins and other materials to girls living in Children's Home, Snehalaya, Sector-15 Chandigarh, operated by Social Welfare, Women and Child Development, Chandigarh Administration. The initiative aimed to connect with children living in Children's Homes of UT and spread awareness about the importance of female hygiene.
During the distribution drive, Mrs. Brar interacted with the children through a live session and emphasized the importance of maintaining female hygiene. She was pleased to see the children's enthusiasm and confidence. Helping children and the needy has always been her priority, and she expressed her gratitude to the United Nations and Chandigarh Administration for their support.
Mrs. Varsha Arora, the Snehalaya Girl Child Incharge, expressed her happiness and welcomed the initiative by Smt. Narinderjit Kaur Brar and Kuna. Mr. Manvinder Singh Ranauta, the CUNA Youth Wing President, also appreciated the initiative and gave a token of thanks to Mrs. Brar for her support. Shri Harkanwar Singh, General Secretary Youth Chandigarh Wing of United Nations Association, welcomed the drive and expressed his special thanks to Mrs. Narinderjit Kaur Brar for her cooperation and initiative. He also encouraged similar efforts in the future.
